Finished watching glass shoes. The ending is so sad... I keep thinking about it and well, I cried the whole night because of that. The guy died on his wedding day. The day when he was going to marry the woman he loves the most in his life. It took so long to finally make her fall in love with him, let alone marry him... He died being stabbed by a gangster while on his way to rescue his kidnapped wife-to-be. He was a gangster too before... He died in her arms...

His last words were, "I was so looking forward to the wedding... To finally hear you say that you love me." She only said those words after he was gone... Too late. Too late.

I really admire the women in this show. The elder sister is strong, firm and never gave up hope of finding her sister, even after 15 years. The younger sister is forgiving and positive. Despite being bullied and tortured, she always told herself she would be ok, she would be fine. She has such a positive outlook towards life and she can accept things and let go of things easily...

I've really learnt a lot from this show... It's one of the best Korean dramas I've watched.

Mid-autumn festival yesterday... Celebrated it at Clementi CC. It was the best so far! The party lasted till 10.30... Went home just in time for Summer Scent! :) Afterwhich, I watched Glass Shoes till about 1.30am.

So, watched glass shoes up till episode 8 so far... It is good. Another tearjerker. Haha! The story revolves around 2 sisters, separated when the younger sister got knocked down by a lorry. They are orphans with only a grandfather whom they've never known because he objected to their parents' marriage. Anyway, 15 years later, the older sister lives with her rich grandfather while the younger one is brought up by the family who knocked her down. The elder sis never gave up hope on finding her sister...

Will they ever reunite? I'm going to continue watching it, 42 more VCDs to go!

Teachers Day Celebration was quite ok, not as great as last year though... I especially like the games part, especially when group 4 dressed Mr Bayliss up. So funny! And 2e1's dedication to Mr Chan... Spiderman. Haha. Gave the cookies to the teachers... Saw his face light up in the morning as I handed him his gift. That really warmed my heart. ACES Day, we danced Cha-Cha. It was fun. The teachers were fun too. And we all got dizzy in the end. Hah!

So, today, we had a whole day of lessons on the floor. Greening St. Margarets competition... We laid dried leaves on the floor and covered them with plastic sheets. Hey, our idea is really creative! I really enjoyed the day, sitting on the floor... The teachers were fun too. They warmed up to the idea quickly and did not scold us even when we shouted at them "Take out your shoes!"... It was a busy day and I feel accomplished.

Quote of the day: "Let's talk about the similarities between love and trains. Sometimes it's shaky. Sometimes it wavers. There are meetings and partings."
