Asia has been hit by tsunamis. And Singapore was so close to getting hit too. But we didn't, despite being surrounded by waters. And so, I hope we Singaporeans will realise how lucky we are and do our best to help the tsunami victims.

Say a prayer for the victims. Don't party too wild tonight as we usher in the new year. Have a blessed New Year.

Golden Horse Awards. It's half the fun when you already know the results. The host wore a SARS mask which had words sewn on it. It said "Support Andy Lau". He then put on another one over which said "Also support Tony Leung". I found that hilarious. Andy was like "He's here! He's here!"(referring to Tony), as in, he won't get the award because of Tony. Haha! I still jumped in my seat, clapped as though people could hear me when Daniel Wu won the best supporting actor award. Though I already knew beforehand. :) And I clapped for Andy too!

Affairs of the heart. It ended up being a Taufik-Sylvester show. They performed like 5 times or more? They each sang twice individually, once together and were one of those bending over for Jeff to somersault over them. I'm sure fans were like "I'll kill you if you touch my idol!". I would know. I was at home with my siao-sly-supporter sis who was screaming "Don't you dare touch Sly!". Sigh.

Anyway, say a prayer for those who were affected by the tidal wave. It is a really huge disaster and my heart goes out to those who lost homes and loved ones... So, I hope you are all well, waiting for the new year! :)

Re-watching Glass Shoes on Channel 8, 10.30pm Mondays & Tuesdays. Until school starts, that is. It is as good as the first time I watched it. I love it! It's a refreshing change from the usual K-dramas and it's nice to see a tough gangster turning into this sweet, romantic guy for a girl.

Yesterday, went out with Da & Di, had lunch and just walked around the shops at Bukit Panjang Plaza. It was fun and I went to Suntec after that.

I can finally sleep in my room with airconditioning because we finally changed the system! My previous system (Daikin) did not allow me to turn on my aircon. If I did, my brother's aircon will give out hot air. And of course my brother gets priority...

I currently sleep with 2 big pillows, 2 medium pillows, a bolster, 2 BK Shrek 2 pillows, 2 blankets and 3 teddy bears. All on a small single bed. I like the comfy feeling of being surrounded with stuff when I sleep! I love hugging stuff to sleep. And of course... I love to sleep. :P Haha!

I love my family. I really do. I love my mum, I love my dad... And it's weird that it's difficult to say such stuff to them. And you worry sometimes whether they know that you care for them. I don't want to have regrets. Just like me and my Kwon Sang Woo photobook. I should have bought it that day, should have borrowed from mum the money. But I didn't. And so today, went back to store with money, but no photobook. And ended up buying posters and a 2005 calendar. I still want the photobook! If only someone can get it for me as a christmas gift.... *hint hint* Haha!

I've realised that life is about the little things.

It's the little things which make us smile : an SMS, a sincere thank you, a warm hug, a kind act...

And it's the little things which make us content : knowing you're more fortunate than many others, having loved ones who take care of you when you're sick, having a roof above your head, food on your table, being able to afford a good education.

And you come to realise that those aren't the little things in life. They are the big things, and the most important. :)

Watched Princess D last night on Channel 8. It's a Hong Kong movie, direct translation from its Mandarin title, "Xiang Fei" would be "Wish to fly". Only watched it for Daniel Wu. And ended up liking only Daniel Wu in the show. I didn't like it much, except for Daniel Wu's character and today's quote of the day which came from his character. :)

Anyway, I was supposed to blog about my trip to Genting... Basically, it was COLD, and I mean COLD. It wasn't this cold the last time we went. It wasn't even cold except at nighttime. Finally got to ride the Cyclone and rode most of the rides we rode on the previous trip. It was fun, mostly.

For those going Genting, 1 tip. Do NOT eat at the curry house. The food there is disgustingly expensive. 1 plate of briyani rice and ONLY the rice alone costs RM 5. 1 piece of chicken costs RM 6 (even if it's bones). 1 slice of fish costs RM 12. And it's a river fish. And it's not delicious either. Go eat Kebab or fast food. It's more worth it. :)
