Teachers' Day Celebrations. I always look forward to Teachers' Day! :D The concert was quite okay... The celebrations were fun! We even had a class party this year which was really lots of fun. :) Went back to my primary school alone and left after meeting Ms Chua. Wanted to take photos but somehow lost the mood.

I am going mad. I really am. I'm about to burst. People always go "I'm here if you need me". But just how many of them are really there when you need them? Where were all these people when I needed a comforting hug, when I needed a listening ear, when I needed a shoulder to cry on? I have a lot to deal with at home. And I really need a listening ear now. I can't hold in my tears much longer.

I am back from a really long break! I apologise for the un-planned hiatus. My room internet was (and still is) not working. I have no idea why but that's that.

So, yes, I owe my blog the Singapore layout, I still have to work on 3 fanlistings... And I have to burn CDs for my friends. I am busy, busy, busy!

Anyway, being on your feet for more than 3 hours is highly discouraged. Yesterday, went to Clementi's National Day Walk-a-jog to help dad out and ended up being on my feet for 3 hours there, from 7am, giving out t-shirts, bottled mineral water and finally the lucky draw prizes, and also helping in whatever ways I could. Afterwhich, I had breakfast with the people at the CC, together with the MP, Mr Arthur Fong. It was really fun actually.

But of course, dad brought us out. So, ended up being on my feet till about 1pm. All in all, was on my feet for about at least 5 hours, minus eating time and travelling time! My feet ached really bad after that.

Saturday, had MOE family day at Sentosa! I'm tempted to put up some photos I took. I'll think about it. ;) Okay, I'm off to comment on all your blogs now!

Just caught the first episodes of Shooting Star and Full Circle. Full Circle is really awesome, it's such a heartening show. Today's episode was about a twin who goes in search for her other twin. They were separated at birth and brought up differently, one by a Malay couple, the other by a Chinese family. Up till today, they are unable to communicate verbally with each other without a translator. It is a true story, by the way.

I made a Singapore layout! Shall put it up tomorrow. You know, I really, really love Singapore! I shall make a list on why I love Singapore someday... I could've gone to the Padang for NDP but Dad decided to take 3 tickets for Jurong East instead of 2 for Padang because there was my sis. And my sis did not even go for the Jurong East one. I mean, I could have been at the Padang now if not for my sis!

I'll cut this short. HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! I LOVE YOU! :D

Went over to Liah's on Tuesday and met with a fright in her room. Yes people, the moment I stepped into her room, Taufik's face stared back at me. The horrors. But she quickly cleared matters up. It was her maid's doing. Phew. I sure hope it's off her wall now!

Orchard Road walk on Thursday with Anglia. First stop, Mackenzie Rex at Prinsep Street for a delicious meal followed by Anime House which was nearby. Hopped onto a bus to Forum to get a birthday gift. Ended up spending an extra 20 minutes at Toys 'R' Us playing Fantastic Four. That game is addictive! But it's $60. Let me just starve for 3 weeks and I'll buy it. :D

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY SINGAPORE!!! WOOHOO! Just call me patriotic. ;) Yes, I am going to the NDP again this year... Although this year feels a little different... I should make a visit to his grave soon.

School is monotonous. We hear the music blasting from the PA system at about 7.15, the prefects come in shortly screaming "Seniors please go to the hall/parade ground now". And so we trudge down to the hall/parade ground and line up.

Prefect : Girls, please greet [name of person doing devotion], Mrs Tan and teachers.
Students : Good morning [name of person doing devotion], Mrs Tan and teachers.

Assembly ends after the national anthem and pledge and it's off to lessons. Monotonous.

Anyway, I got myself a model of a metallic bronze Nissan 350z!!! It is gorgeous. Shall put up a picture of it here soon...
