"Excuse me, would you like to make a donation?"

So, I went for flag day yesterday. It was really meaningful and I was touched by some really nice people. I thought I would not really learn much from flag day. I mean, come on... We're asking people for money here. It's like begging. What can you learn from that?! But I was wrong.

So... besides some stupid idiots who acted like I was invisible [I mean, can't you just give me an indication that you're not donating instead of making me look like I was talking to the air?!], I had some really nice encounters.

~ This guy was talking on the phone and without me asking, he told the person on the line, "Hold on," and donated a dollar. Sweet.
~ A bus driver shuttling people to and fro to a fair motioned to me to come up the bus and gave me two dollars!
~ A really cute guy actually showed me his wallet to show that he had no coins. And he was blushing furiously. HAHA. CUTE.
~ A boyfriend donated a dollar, saying "She's not generous one..." when his girlfriend refused to. Heh.

It was fulfilling. :)

We had dinner yesterday to celebrate Melody's birthday! Korean food! :D I hope she likes our gifts. Well, she better. HAHAHA.

I love my maid! She's funky! xD

Anyway, my grades are picking up! It motivates me. I just need to have more determination to lose weight now... T_T

So, finally got my layouts up! I will leave these layouts up for 2 months, since I just don't feel like changing it so quickly. Or maybe I'll exchange the layouts from time to time. Hmm.

Anyway, I went to Science Centre yesterday with Adz & Liah for the Star Wars Exhibition; it was so cool! Then, we watched a chick about to hatch. Sadly, we didn't get to watch it really hatch. It was an enriching experience nonetheless.

So, after the ooh-ing and aah-ing at the chicks and soon-to-be-chick, Adz and I headed out to town! We had a nice lunch at Rex restaurant before collecting my poster. And, I love my poster! It's an autographed poster of Hye Gyo & Tae Hyun from My Girl & I! Okay, picture.

Tadah! Okay, I'm happy. :)

I spent the weekend at Media Camp. I must admit, I expected much more from the camp. It was pretty disappointing, partly because of the lack of enthusiasm on some members. At least I got to know some members better. I bonded a lot with Mew, needless to say. HAHA. We Korean-obsessed people were listening to our MP3 players into the night, illegally. So, besides Mew, I got to know Kristy and Anh better. I found out that Zi Jing is also a Park Yong Ha fan... Also, our Media Club mother, Trang visited! So, the camp wasn't entirely a waste of time. ^^

So, on Friday, we went to Pulau Semakau, Singapore's only landfill. It was a truly enriching trip. And, I just want to say, I love Singapore very, very much. ^^

Progress report made me cry. I've never, never had such horrible results. On a much happier note, I won an autographed poster of My Girl & I. Song Hye Gyo's autograph!

Amylia shall work harder. But first, Amylia needs to clean up her room. ^^

I had a really meaningful weekend.

Saturday
Spent 2 hours with Ms Ho doing A Maths! It was... surprisingly fun and enjoyable. Definitely enriching. After which I was supposed to meet Wenyi but something came up. So, went to help my primary school choir till 3pm and took 2 buses to Anglia's. We watched 2 hours of Loveletter with Min Woo, Shi Won, FTTS... And we were laughing really hard throughout. In exchange I watched 7 minutes of a Japanese music video. HAHA. 2 hours in exchange for 7 minutes. Sounds somewhat unfair ehh?

Sunday
Watched My Girl & I with my maid and sis. It was really sad. I enjoyed it very much.

I am thankful for people who bother to listen to me and who care about me. :)

Liah : Oh, then I don't care.

I know it's short but that made me feel really loved. Thanks for wanting to listen, Liah. It means a lot to me. Thank you for being my best friend. :)

You know, there are times when you have so much bottled inside of you and you need to talk to someone. But nobody is available to lend you a listening ear. And all you can do is just keep it in. But sometimes it overwhelms you so much you just break down and cry.

I felt like that today. I don't like to burden my friends with my problems. Would they even want to listen anyway?

So all I can do is cry.
