It's been a while since I blogged here! xD I've been more active in LJ for obvious reasons... Certain things that I post there are more for friends' eyes. HAHA.

Anyway, I'm going to be really busy preparing for my 'O's from now on. But I can't leave without posting about my Shinhwa concert experience, can I? (: I can't. HAHA.

I'll summarise everything. My post in LJ is like... REALLY DETAILED AND LONG. I shall spare you some of the details. HAHA.

SEPTEMBER 8 2006
A few of us Shinhwa Changjo girls met up to go to the airport together. We reached at about 6pm and waited for the rest to come so that we could distribute the SHCJ t-shirts. Spent the next few hours chatting, laughing and watching videos. It was hard for me to stomach anything at this point. I was too nervous.

8pm.
The barricades were being set up and suddenly a cloud of orange-clad females rushed to get good spots. I was in front with a few of my Changjo friends. We were very, very excited at this point of time. I thought I was going to faint. The fans behind the barricades on the other side kept screaming everytime they saw movement from inside the terminal. All the screamings and false alarms were making me very, very anxious and I was breaking out in cold sweat.

9pm.
Shinhwa Changjo started chanting "SHINHWA SHINHWA!" and to our surprise, all the other fans started to follow suit. It was pretty cool. HAHA. It was about 9.30pm and we saw cameramen from the Korean side. Many people were waving to the cameras. A cameraman from GoodEMG [the company Shinhwa is under] started to video and take photos of the fans. When he pointed the camera at me and Michelle, we gamely posed with huge smiles. XD

9.45pm.
The chanting was now replaced with loud screams. Shinhwa was coming out of the terminal! As Shinhwa started walking out of the gates, Shar and I just went "OMG OMG OMG OMG". It was so surreal. THEY WERE SO NEAR!!! Then I spotted Min Woo and immediately started screaming "MIN WOO! MIN WOO!!!!!". He waved! HE WAVED!

I was THIS close! ^^

Needless to say, I couldn't sleep that night. xD

10th September
It is THE DAY. I could hardly sleep and was up and about at 7am. Packed my bag and got ready at about 10am and left the house. I was going to have a Karaoke session with my Philippine friends who were in town for the concert too. I was finally going to meet my Angel! ^^

3.30pm.
At the Singapore Indoor Stadium! We could hear them rehearsing! It was so awesome, sitting with the Changjo girls, talking, having fun and listening to Shinhwa rehearsing.

4pm-6pm.
Wenyi called me and together with Sarah, we were off to Canadian Pizza to order pizza for our dearest boys [and for their staff. xD]! Apparently the organisers were having problems with getting Shinhwa food so THANK GOODNESS for our pizzas. We got busy, pasting our SHCJ namecards on every box of pizza, trying hard to be fast yet neat. This guy from GoodEMG came out and asked if the food was for Shinhwa. We smiled proudly and said yes. Our dear Stef was going to bring in the food for them! So awesome. (:

7pm.
WOOHOO we were in the stadium! Realised how close we were to the stage and started shivering in happiness. It was back to Changjo work again. xD I handed out placards to the girls, giving instructions on how to hold the placards and when to turn to "SHINHWA CHANGJO" or the members' names. It was pretty difficult to coordinate but we managed it. ^^

8.30pm.
The lights dimmed. It was starting!!! I snapped my orange glowlight and was getting excited with Ling. I'm glad I sat next to her because both of us were equally upbeat and dare I say it... HIGH. HAHAHA. LUG performed 2 songs and as they left the stage, I saw SHINHWA behind the screens. OMG this was it. I was finally going to see them live!!!

After their opening act of 3 songs, it was interaction time! OMG. They tried to speak English and I was touched by their effort. ^^ They said a lot of "I LOVE YOU!", causing us fans to scream with happiness. Sigh, the small things which get us so happy. HAHAHA. All their hairstyles for the concert were so nice! ^^

As the rest of the concert proceeded, my seating seat became a standing seat because there's no way us Changjo girls can enjoy their concert seating down! Together with Ling and the rest of the Changjo girls, I jumped, screamed, sang my heart out, swayed with my glowlight [and Dong Wan. xD] and waved my 'M' sign enthusiastically. HAHA. It was an awesome feeling and I was fighting the urge to just dance there and then. xD

When Min Woo's solo came, I screamed "LEE MINWOO LEE MINWOO!!!" until I could feel my voice about to break. HAHA. He danced over to our block and WAVED. Me and Ling were practically fainting on each other. Min Woo I love you! xD

Finally it was Once In A Lifetime! When Hye Sung pointed the mic to us, we practically screamed to get ourselves heard. Badly wanted them to know that we learnt and practised their songs really hard. They looked pretty pleased so I'm sure we were heard. ^^

Then Eric announced that they were going to sing their last song and I nearly burst into tears. That was 2 hours?! As they went backstage after their song, the audience broke into cheers of "SHINHWA SAN. SHINHWA SAN. [it means Shinhwa mountain. Long story. xD]" They came back on with 2 more songs and that was it.

It ended. Just like that. As the lights came on, Michelle burst into tears. I was trying my best to hold mine in while trying to get her to calm down and stop crying. It was tough. :x Collected back the placards from the girls and was about to leave when "Amylia!". I turned and saw Angel and we shared a really tight hug. I broke down on her. Not a pretty sight. :x I couldn't bear to let Angel leave too... :x

The whole thing ended so quickly. An immediate feeling of emptiness pierced through my heart as I saw the fans slowly walk out of the stadium. T_T

Okay I tried my best to summarise. This is only like half of my LJ post. ^^ I hope it's not too long. HAHA. I'll still pop by now and then to comment on your entries but till then, take care! ^^
